Max Wyld and I made more pots! While Max went travelling after our last batch in February I filled his shelf in my studio with bisque fired pots. Some vases specifically made with Max in mind, but also lots of cups, mugs, butter dishes, plates, bowls, candleholders etc.
Max came back to Cornwall in May and it was amazing to have him back in the studio. He’d pull bisque fired pots off the shelf, leaf through folk art books or his sketchbooks and then start sketching and painting on the pots. Working together makes me appreciate my pots in a new way & gives me lots of inspiration for new shapes.
I showed these pots during Open Studios, but there are still a couple of max+nyn pots available in my shop!
Max has left Cornwall again and I really don’t know when he’ll be back & when we’ll have a new batch of pots available. There are still plenty of pots left on the ‘Max’ shelf in my studio, some with sketches on & 1 half painted. And we've got lots of ideas for new shapes. Can't wait to continue the collab when Max is back in Cornwall.
